Snowmobile Clubs January-February 2010 There should be 4-6 poker/fun runs around the Cedar Rapids area. If you get the dates before us please let us know. January 9, January 30, and February 20, 2010 Bobbers Grill Fun Runs Registration from 9-10. Last sled in 5:00. For more info: http://www.scalespointe.com/ January 30 Frozen Few fun run January 30 Jones county Snow Chasers Fun Run Feb. 6th SnoX Snowmobile Competition at Sleepy Hollow January 24th '09 Frozen Few poker run. Start and finish at the Dam Bar in Troy Mills. 10:30am start and 7pm finish. Sled count last year was over 100 and it was a great time. Pictures are on our photo gallery. These have always been a lot of fun in the past. January 25th '09 "snowmobile get together" by bobbers in North Liberty. Show up around 11 to unload your fast sleds. Sept. 13 Anamosa Motorcycle hill climb and swap meet. www.anamosahillclimb.com August 29th-POSTPONED to Sept 26th due to flooding-Mud Drags in Palo behind the Mini mart-trucks, atv's and sleds welcome. Register by 1pm January 31st "rural fun run" Start 9am and end 6pm at Center Field, only 4 towns and we will be on this run. Start and finish at the Center Field Bar in Center Point. 10:30am start and 7pm finish. We will be on this run. February 28th Snowmobile Fun Run at Prairie Moon Bar in Prairieburg 10:30-9:30 March 10th '08 Results: 600cc-Nate Johnson, 700cc-Dalton Lilly, 800cc-Brad Moyle, Open-Darrin Lilly (we were all having fun racing so not positive on 700 and 800 class results LMK if I'm wrong) Lots of people showed up but only 33 People signed up-some were skeeeerd. Bring your own food and drinks unless you already told them how many you have coming for steak. Sept 12-13 Hay Days Grass Drags Worlds largest snowmobile event Sept 17th ***Snowmobile Club Awareness night 7pm at Center Field in Center Point*** We will be discussing the 3 clubs nearby, new trails, new groomer, new ideas etc. YES, we need you. Sept 19th Snowdrifters Inc. Annual Swap Meet and Club Open House. Held at Scales Point this year-the old Jolly Rogers. Sept 26th Mud Drags in Palo behind the Mini mart-trucks, atv's and sleds welcome. Register by 1pm Oct 15th Frozen Few Pappys in Center Point trail meeting 5:30-6:30 to establish new trails to Urbana and Springville and Alliance meeting from 6:30 on. Show up if you want to share your thoughts on the proposed trails or more info on the alliance. JS Powersports will be there-hopefully with all the 2010 snow gear books. Oct 16 Milwaukee snow show Nov 7th Frozen Few meeting 7pm at Pappys in Center Point Nov 8th Frozen Few trail marking day-please donate this day to everyone's safety and help mark the trails. Nov 13-15 ISSA Annual Convention at the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center, Waterloo Nov 14th JS Powersports Snowmobile Open House 12-6pm, Flyer here New gear is already here. Reps will be on site from Arctiva, Klim, HMK, FXR and more. Closeout Specials while they last, Door Prizes, Lots of Snowmobile Club info, New Maps, New trails, new groomer etc. Food and Drinks Provided. |
